My friend Michael Millachamp is trying to get his project off the ground. He is a very talented cinematographer that would appreciate any help that you could offer. Check out his kickstarter video by clicking this link: Necrophilia: A Love Story
This is a photo of the cast and crew of Chariot, a feature film that we shot it Dallas within 12 days aboard that sweatbox. I have to say that it was perhaps the most comfortable feature that I have ever worked on. Everyone was exceptionally awesome, and I hope to have the chance to shoot with them again.
This is one of the many reasons why I admire Joseph Gordon-Levitt. Join the community with me and lets make some art.
Thanks to everyone for helping us reach 150,000 views for the Thirty Six trailer. Be sure to keep an eye out for the film's distribution release coming soon. I am looking forward to collaborating with Scott Strickland on another feature hopefully in the near future as well.
Welcome to my blog. I recently did an upgrade to the site, and decided that I would start blogging to let people know how work is going in Dallas. Today I visited Agora Entertainment Studios with my friend, Adnan Naseem Khan. I want to give props to those guys for having such a wondrous work environment. Adnan and I almost got lost as we ventured from one set to the next. Their green screen studio was almost as big as my old apartment complex. You could fit the entire Dallas Cowboy football team on the green screen cyc floor. Then we casually strolled by their equipment room, and saw two 18K HMIs placed in storage. I was a fat kid in the hostess factory. Anyways I want to give them major props to their business. I hope to freelance there sometime soon, and I look forward to learning more business aspects from my great new friend, Adnan "King Khan".
Later on that day I came back home to the apartment, and Liz decided that she could not take my mullet any longer. I've been trying to grow it out so that I could audition for the main role of the E-Entertainment true hollywood story of Billie Ray Cyrus. Actually it was honestly driving me nuts as well. Liz took me to Knockouts, its basically a Hooters for men's haircuts. I got two shampoos, and a kick ass trim. I felt like a new man: like I was "bonified" wit' my Damper Dan can and pennies in my loafers. The new phonebooks showed up on my doorstep, and here I am telling the world.
So as the situation goes, I have yet to find any work; however, I expect that employment is bound to turn up very soon. I have great confidence in my skills, and I am networking through some great people. I'll keep you posted on how things turn out. -Ira
